Before the Sunday you pray, read the Guidelines
This page is only about using the site. What is actually expected of you on the day — when to arrive, where to stand, how the prayer time runs — is in the 4th Sunday Elder Community Prayer Guidelines. Please read them before the first Sunday you take, and again if it has been a while.
How signing up works
- First come, first served. Open the sign-up page, choose your name, and tap a spot. It is yours the moment you tap it — there is nothing to submit and nobody has to approve it.
- Two spots per Sunday. Redwood City means both the 9:00 and the 11:00 service. San Jose is the 11:00 service. You cannot take both campuses on the same date.
- A spot somebody has taken says who took it. If you see another elder's name on the spot you wanted, choose a different one — or a different date.
- Sign up as far ahead as you like. The next six 4th Sundays are always listed.

Questions
How do I get my dates into my calendar?
Open the schedule, choose your name, and tap “Add my dates to my calendar”. That puts every upcoming date you have taken into the calendar on your phone. A Redwood City date arrives as two appointments, 9:00 and 11:00. There is also “Email these dates to myself”, which opens your own mail app with the dates already written in.

Something came up. How do I cancel?
Open the schedule, choose your name, and tap “Cancel my spot” under that date. It asks you to confirm, and then the spot is open again straight away.
Under a minute. It shows the part that matters: the spot reopens, and telling the group is still yours to do.
Does cancelling tell anybody?
No. Nothing is sent to anyone, ever. Finding cover is yours to do: text the elder group and ask another elder to take the spot. We would much rather an elder covered it than a pastor.
What if nobody takes a spot?
The schedule shows who covers it as things stand: Pastor Tilden at San Jose, Pastor Ezemdi (or Pastor Jesse) at Redwood City. That is the fallback, not a mistake — but it is the reason to sign up early, and the reason to text the group if you have to cancel.
Can I change my mind and take a different spot?
Yes. Cancel the one you hold on the schedule page, then take the other on the sign-up page. There is no limit on how often.
Do I need an account or a password?
No. Both pages are open links — keep them in your phone, or bookmark this page.
Who do I tell if the site is wrong?
Text the elder group. There is no scheduler to email: the schedule is whatever the elders have signed up for.
